Long time since...

...I wrote on this blog page. To give you an update, its been two years since I joined the oilfield. Time flew by, I could hear it "whooshing" past me as Mr. Adams would say. In the last two years, I have grown up about 10 years. Not just mentally but physically worn out!! Many people are meant for this job, I found that even though I was good at it and mostly I did enjoy it, it wasn't where my heart was. I want the security and comfort of a regular routine, humdrum life. It could just be that the grass just looks greener from this side of the fence, but at least there is some grass; also the fact that once you jump the fence there is no going back. Adventurous and unusual as it has been, its time to move on to bigger better things. Looking forward to the office and some good solid weekends off!!!
